My first huge painting in my new painting class (I switched professors after a semester) from about Feb. I love it and have all 40x50 inches of it on my wall. What is it? It's a page from a Martha Stewart Living Magazine... done one 5x5 inch square at a time and purposefully done so none of the squares match up. I love Martha but I digress. Basically the painting is 80 mini paintings that all mesh together into one picture. Oddly enough it actually looks pretty photo realistic when you don't see it up close or straight on... no idea if that translates with the photo. Ha ha my photography skills are still bad. Look you can see tiny bits of my apartment behind the painting! |
